The Lite-Touch Series is the latest addition to the KENYON line of quality ceramic cook tops. Finger touch electronic controls provide the user with a full range of heat settings, and there are no adjustment knobs to get in the way. Clean up of the cooking surface is quick and easy, just wipe with a damp cloth and you're done.

All Lite-Touch cook tops are equipped with quick to heat ribbon elements and dual heating elements. The quick to heat elements "light up" in just 3 seconds and provide a fast adjustment to temperature settings. The "heat boost" feature provides maximum heat, for a short period of time, to quickly bring the cookware up to optimum operating temperature. This feature proves very useful when cooking in the lower to mid temperature range settings.

Safety features, always a consideration at KENYON include:

LOCKOUT FEATURE. helps to prevent accidental activation during clean up or by young, curious children.

RESIDUAL HEAT INDICATOR. HOT Indicator, alerts the user, with an "H" in the display, of burners not yet cooled to the touch. Heat limiters are also included to prevent exceeding the maximum surface temperature. Protects against potential damage caused by over heating empty cookware.

FAULT INDICATOR. gives and audible alert (buzzer) if inputs don't make sense using built-in fuzzy logic. For example, if all four burners are activated simultaneously, a control panel is covered, a sensor is activated for more than 10 seconds or if activated in an incorrect combination, the unit will alert and shut down. Another excellent feature that helps prevent injury to young children.
